The M&P15-22 is a dedicated M&P15-format rifle designed and built as a true 22 LR semi-auto from the ground up, with all the standard operating features and accessory specifications of a modern-version centerfire M&P15 rifle. This model features a threaded barrel with A1-style compensator (1/2 x 28" thread), a two-position receiver-mounted safety lever, a functioning charging handle, a recessed magazine release, and a bolt catch. Other features include a 6-position collapsible CAR stock, a polymer quad rail handguard, an ambidextrous load-assist button, and a polymer upper and lower receiver with integral steel inserts. It has a A2 post front sight with an adjustable dual aperture rear sight.
