The first blued, seven shot mid-sized revolver offered by S&W, the Model 586 L-Comp features a ported full lug barrel for recoil reduction. This Model 586 has a Performance Center tuned action, with a smooth double action pull and a short, crisp single action trigger. The rear sight is adjustable and the black blade front sight has a tritium dot for use in all lighting conditions. The frame and cylinder are carbon steel.
